I recently had my local shop put on scootmods forward control, which i love. But i noticed that i have to push extra hard on my foot brake in order to get my rear tail light to light up. The front brake works normal only issue is with the rear. Any ideas?

If you like the brake pedal position where it is right now, The brake light switch has an adjustment rod that you can easily adjust to make brake light switch come on when you first push down. Very easy to do and is in your owner's manual how to adjust.

What 11Stryker said! There is a brake adjustment for the light that is right next to the lever. The manual tells the direction to adjust to have it come on earlier or later. It's the item close to the frame on the inside that sticks up on a peg. I actually toned mine down some in case I have my foot on the pedal. Mine was so sensitive that riding angled up and touching the lever would set it off. Right now I'm riding with my food strait on the peg, rather than in between the heel of my boots as a result. I still adjusted the lever thought for when I'm hovering over it.
