I'm thinking about a Stryker. I was wondering you guys that put forward controls on your Stryker did you find it would corner without scraping, or at least did it help a lot??? I know you can make any bike drag the pegs but it seemed to me the Stryker dragged pretty quickly. I really like the bike but it has to corner without dragging.

thanks for the help

I have the 3" Scootmod forward controls. I will drag my heal from time-to-time, but not the pegs. I have only been riding a year so I may not be taking the turns as aggressive.

Thanks

I only rode a Stryker for a short time but even turning onto another road. Tell ya the truth it was mostly my heals also. Did the movement of the controls help with your heals dragging? I run a lot of crooked roads it has to corner.

I'm 6'-0", so I put on the forward controls to give my legs more room. It definetly made a comfort difference.

Since your new to the Stryker and this forum, Scootmod (forum member) made his own forward controls and sells them. It is a real slick system and does not require you to lengthen the brake line. And his price for members is $100. Definetly can't beat it. I did an instruction write-up for the forum at the link below:

Since I am new to riding I can't really comment on the scraping before or after. I'm more comfortable now but I will still drag in tight turns. Maybe others with more exprience may comment. This is a great forum and everyone is very helpful.

yeah I threw a leg over one this afternoon and found I am a bit cramped leg wise also. The forward controls should really help there.
I am looking for a more comfortable bike that will corner pretty well. I'll check the link out now thanks

The Raider fits perfectly but not sure I need 1900 cc's. It's a bit steep on the price also. LOL

The forward controls move everything forward 3 inches and out about 3/4 of an inch out. I haven't had any problems scraping but I do notice I pay closer attention to my turns and feel that the pegs are closer on corners to the ground. I think most who scrape are using aftermarket pegs, don't qoute me though.
