Has anyone installed Lightning Performance forward controls? I installed them on my bike and the brake lines are stretched to a limit I am not comfortable with. Manufacturer said must be the brake lines are shorter than what they had on thier Stryker when they R&D the product. Love the new position of the controls. Any Ideas? ???

yes I installed them best mod to date so much more confort, you can order SS line almost anywere www.denniskirk.com works well for me the tricky one is the line from the brake resvior to the master cylender , you can not use fuel line or hydrolic line, do not listen to the guy @ the auto store, dot 4 brake fluid will sweat thure and eat the line you must use a specific brake hose ,even the bike dealers have no clue after a week of searching this was my answer http://www.yoyodyneti.com/category.aspx?categoryID=3013 ,worked out perfect I wanted the 6mil black but they were sold out so I used the 8mil and it fit good took just under 3 feet @ $8 per foot.

Once you go 3 1/4 inch forward you will never go back well worth the little extra work, ps I took my exaust off to do mine

I measured my SS line @ 38inches was a litle long with the fittings, 34 would of worked so be sure to measure first for want you want. the easiest way to bleed your brake is to use a vacum pump of some kind that attaches to the bleader valve and just pull the fluid thru. it was really a pretty simple process once I had all the supplys.

I don't remember the exact lenths. I had a dealer measure them. They ordered the Russell lines and fittings from Parts Unlimited. No different cost than J&P cycles or Dennis Kirk. I had them order front and rear lines that are black braided with black chrome fittings. I'll post pics and lenghts when I get them.
