Has anyone else experienced front end chatter while cornering? Almost like the front end is "pushing". After analyzing the situation it almost seems as if there was too much weight on the front end. Seeking input from more experienced riders.Wandering if rolling on more throttle and shifting weight to rear would be the proper thing to do?

I just watched the vid, and even an old fart like me picked up a few pointers :))) ...and if I'm not mistaken, it looks like they even had a Raider in the clip :))

Yeah, I'm the guy who panicked a while back and blew thru a corner.
Luckily there was a big pull-out on the outside and I was able to save it and almost make it look like I did it on purpose.
I'll watch this vid more at work (I got one of THOSE jobs!) and get out and put it into practice.
I'm slowing down way too much for corners.
I need to be more aggressive and have more fun!

Even though I've bee riding since I was a kid, I by no means consider myself a professional rider...but I always feel compelled to throw in my 2 cents....first off, if your riding on a road you don't know with twists and curves you're not familiar with..that is NOT the time to push your cornering skills...even if your VERY confident in your skills you can still get in trouble. Ask any racer...they run the course a lot to get familiar with the corners before they race.

I think the video is a good piece of work (if not a little corny!) Ride on the roads you know, start into your corners at a comfortable speed (even at the posted speed limit, just to have a reference) and just practice technique and accelerating through those turns smoothly until it becomes second nature....check your speedo going in and coming out, so you know how you progress, and don't worry about speed...concentrate on keeping everything smooth. Pretty soon 40 mph curves will be 50 mph curves, and you won't even blink twice...and then that confidence will translate onto roads you don't know, so you'll be less likely to get into trouble. Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir :)

This is the part I am working on. I do hesitate on my throttle as I come into a lot of our turns. This is usually due to the fact that I have to take a split second to LOOK sharply and be sure there isn't a full sized pick up truck with a triple axle stock trailer barreling around the corner on my side of the road, which is actually what happens about 1/4th of the time. The rest of the time, it is people in smaller vehicles taking their half out of the middle because they are in a HURRY and didn't allow enough time for them to reach their destination on schedule... the price of living out in the middle of nowhere I guess LOL =)
Anyway, the stryker lends it's self to good solid handling and aggressive riding well, and goes around these turns far better then I ever thought it would given it's rake and large front tire.
More seat time! more practice ... yeah! hehe
