Yeah, I'll send the adapters. Gonna be going with the Ness deep cuts. I haven't checked the bottom of them - they may have had a normal turn-scrape on the left one - I'll check when I get home...

Nyjol, to get the deep cuts on there you had to leave the stock chrome plastic crap on the throttle? Also I know the end weights are supposed to screw out, but how? I have **** near broken them off trying to twist.

How is the weight on the deep cuts since they don't really have end weights?

If you want the chrome junk off from the stock, you'll have to replace the throttle tubes; they're part of it on the throttle side. I cut off the chrome bit with a dremel on the clutch side so it'd look the same. Weight of the Ness grips is nice - I like 'em. They even out a bit because they've got more metal in the body than the stock ones do, but with the end weights the stocks are still heavier. And yeah, you gotta crank on those end weights to get em loose, but they come off easy once you dislodge the thread locker in there.

Nyjol, I put my deep cuts on today, and the chrome WILL come off very easily. I hope this doesn't piss you off but the ring is pushed onto the throttle tube, and then has a small o-ring around the throttle tube that holds the chrome ring on. I did however have to dremel down some of the plastic near the actual throttle cables to get the grip to slide all the way to the end.

I'm assuming you're meaning nyjol. If you meant me,I plan on taking some pictures tomorrow after I make my new saddlebag mounts and possible starting a thread. I have lots more mods coming up.

Well, eff me RUNNIN.... Lol And I took aaaaaall that time to trim the little chrome piece on the clutch side! ROTFLMAO Oh well, I'm pretty much GUARANTEED to be the only guy with that chrome ring!

Did the headlight-I'll post pics this weekend. Paint job got pushed out cz I'm waiting for the LED for the flush mount to get in. Should have my pipes tomorrow tho! =D

Hate to keep y'all waiting...left my camera at the office, but I'll get pix up tomorrow by noon. Promise. Probably start a new "build" thread - I expect to have the pipes on Monday, Ness pegs on Tuesday. Went black wrap/black rear shields on the pipes; we'll see how it looks, and if it sucks, change it (I saw an HD that had 2-into-1 VH pipes like that and I stared like a 13-yr-old at Venice Beach. It looked cool.).

Can't wait to see the pics and your new thread nyjol, I am sure they will look awesome... ;D
