46 mm I had to have my fork seals replaced last summer after I bottomed them out crossing a set of railroad tracks. What size are the Raider's forks?
****, sir! How fast were you flying? I've hit potholes the size of Montana at 80mph and my seals are still good!46 mm I had to have my fork seals replaced last summer after I bottomed them out crossing a set of railroad tracks.
I was only doing 50 but because of the way the tracks were caused it...guess you'd have to be there. It is the first time I've ever bottomed the forks out on any bike....ok any street bike****, sir! I've done it 45, just depends upon the angle of decent mostly. It's an awfuly scarey feeling when you realize you were going to fast and you're staring at asphault and praying your forks don't give way or force you to twist the bars.I was only doing 50 but because of the way the tracks were caused it...guess you'd have to be there. Then they're not the same. Stryker: 41mm (1.61"), Raider: 46mm (1.81"). I'm (mildly) surprised.46 mm I had to have my fork seals replaced last summer after I bottomed them out crossing a set of railroad tracks.
Sure is a scary feeling! When I hit that pothole, my butt only came off the seat a few inches and my feet off the pegs, but in my mind, below is what it felt like! :shocked:It's an awfuly scarey feeling when you realize you were going to fast and you're staring at asphault and praying your forks don't give way or force you to twist the bars.
