Maybe I missed it, there is lots of talk about wider tires on the back, but has anyone put a wider tire on the front, I like the look of a beefy wide tire on the front of a bike. I haven't gone to any bike shops yet to see what there thoughts were, this is very prelimanary but has been on my list of things to do since i've had the bike. It would be great if I could, I dont want to get into the expence of having to change out the back rim so it matches the front just to get that burley look.

I thought about it a long time ago.
Mechanics cringe at the thought??

No clearance from stock fender
Changes the nimble performance far more than changing the rert tire.

AFAIK the 120/70 is the widest 21 inch tire made. It's a tad over 4.5 inches which is surprisingly wide for a chopper.

Fat front tires are more typical of dresser styles without the raked front end.

With the rake our bikes have I would think it would be dangerous.
Has anyone ever ridden one of those old Yamaha BW dirt bikes over a gradual curb like that of a driveway opening at an angle?
I have and the bike crashed (I crashed) immediately!
It grabbed that curb like an octopus will grab your face.
Scary.

to go for a wider/fatter bobber style front tire you'd have to go to a smaller diameter front wheel.
