I am looking at options for replacing the front turn signals.

I like the billet ones that go on the front fork but they are expensive, and seem tough to install. I like the ones below too and think they would be the most visible, but would they fit on the stryker? If so how would I go about installing them?

Thanks in advance!

www.chromeglow.com Front fork led wraps. Not that expensive and a monkey could install them.

There's already threads on this topic. Hate to bang on the newbies, but some of you guys need to learn how to use the SEARCH button. It would save on the redundant thread topics.

And checking for a unique username would also be awesome.

PS a nice sample response to someones first post on a forum could go as follows

....

"hey welcome to the forum, congrats on getting a Stryker, which we all love so much!

I am not sure about those handle bar lights but the chrome glow ones are easier to install than you may think. Here is a link to the site and here is a link on how to install them, for future reference if you use the search button at the top you can search for things like the thread I linked to avoid repeat topics.

Enjoy your new bike!"

I don't appreciate the condescending attitude buddy. I wasn't rude to you, just offered you a suggestion.

Nice username btw...

Urban, I browsed through that thread a few times before posting this and I didn't see any info on these handle bar lights. Your install on the chrome glow ones looks awesome though, nice bike, and when I go to install LEDs I will follow that for the load equalizer.

Immortal13 I was just trying to say that wasn't the most friendly greeting I have received on a forum. I am not new to them and I know how to use the search feature. Its all about positioning and how you say stuff saying "its easier than you think" rather than "a monkey could do it" sounds less condescending and more helpful. PS if you are that upset about the username let me know I can change it its not that important to me for the forum.

Do we know if these handle bar lights fit the Stryker?

27mm equates to just under 1" which is the diameter of the Stryker bars. My gut tells me they would fit. Give it a shot. Might be snug but I'm sure a little sandpaper and/or a dremel could get them in there. Are you doing this for extra light or to replace the stock lollipops?

Are we really treating new members this way???? I apologize for this immortal.inc, welcome to the forum and thanks for the question. Hopefully, you find what you're looking for and as for his name, all is fair game if available....no matter what. I am so sorry.

Hey Immortal inc. Just my two cents, but I don't think these are a good replacement for the front lights. Your hands on the grips may at times impede the view of the mortorist your trying to warn. The signals on the forks would be much safer. OH Welcome ;D

How do these things mount up? There doesn't seem to be any threads on the shaft. If you want them thread into where the factory bar ends go then they will need to have something like an M18 bolt (its huge). Pop off one of your bar ends to see what I mean.

Don't apologize for me. I can certainly handle that myself if need be. Since I didn't treat anybody poorly... really not necessary.

As far as monkeys go, it is just a little common saying here. I'm from the south and we talk a little different than some of the rest of you folks. Besides it's commonly known that southern folks are the most friendly anyway.....proven fact. We also speak plainly and don't take any b.s.

So anyway, I personally happen to like monkeys. They're one of my favorite things at the zoo. Spider monkeys are my favorite. ;)

well I'm as southern as they come and I took it as being rude. All this guy asked for was a little help. As far as the name goes I ddidn't know there was a search option to make sure nobody has a similar name. And as far as Deja apologizing for you i can completely understand why she did. As moderators all we're trying to do is be helpful and keep things positive. Recently a few threads have gotten out of hand with people calling names and telling others to "stfu". In my mind this is not the place for that activity. When I joined this forum I hung out for a few weeks before I joined just to see if it had a positive vibe. I don't know what has happened lately but there has been a lot of negativity over opinions. I love to see the debate over things like CT vs MC and such as that but when it turns ugly it's just uncalled for. Just my .02 for what it's worth and usually that's not much.

#1 one thread has nothing to do with another one.

#2 I didn't suggest a "search" for his/her username. I was referring to starting a redundant topic.

#3 I even copy/pasted a link to help the guy out.

#4 I said it there was no rude intention...so there was NOT.

Now, that's all I have to say about it.

btw, monkeys rule ;)
