Has this happen to anyone. I pull up to a gas station and pullout the kickstand and gas up try to fill it up as much as I can but when I start the bike and roll out the first square of gas goes out pretty fast.

Now this is the question because of the bike being on the kickstand with a leans a lot the gas tank does not fill to full capacity. If I where to fill the gas tank when the bike is straight up with me seating on the bike will the tank fill up better then when it is leaning on the kickstand??

i always fill up while sitting on the bike straight up. Tank stays full for awhile.

That's a great question. Certainly, it should make a difference. The next time I get gas, I'm going to fill it as usual, with it on the stand and then level it and see how much more it holds.

I've thought about that as well. I tried filling the tank on the side stand, then sitting the bike up right to see if the gas level in the filler cap went down and it didn't.

I too fill mine up while sitting on it, I think it's about a half gallon difference than when on kickstand

Had to push it the last 20ft or so. Ran out as I was waiting to pull up to the pump.

I also stay right on the bike when filling up. I picked up a mobil speedpass linked to my bank account and it makes it nice so I don't have try to get my wallet out.

Tried it today and got .25 gallon more into the tank with the bike in riding position.

The Stryker tank is 4.0 gallons. How many miles on reserve did you ride?

I think it was only 11 or 12. Stop and go really makes mileage suck.
