Ok...I was going to wait and just post a finished product, but you know how it is...its good to share and besides the timer is ticking on this one.

So the bike had 600 miles on it and the wrench's came out, did a lot of research and with the help of a modern day processes the build began...Now as of monday the bike was torn down as paint was ready to go to work, on monday night rims were here and now things were starting to take shape.

Here's the front..she's installed and good to go, just wanted to share the first real sneak peak at her new look.

Thanks guys and sorry about the teaser...two pics because the rest of the bike is torn down still...but I should be done with the rest by sat...paint is curing now on the rest. I thought about it this morning I have few parts that are not here yet, one is the spedo face, the front turns and the custom seat has to be covered...outside of that its all here just waiting on the last coats of clear.

Finished off wiring up all the leds yesterday...think it ended up with around 240 leds. I'm real happy with the chrome job, they did a great job removing the casting marks out of the wheels. Soon as things get done I will share all of it. I didn't chrome the rear sproket, thinking that gives some contrast...hard to tell if it was the right decision yet, but it can be done later. I also havent touched the raidiator cover, still trying to decide what I want to do with it, I thought about the lm...but I don't agree with the price and honestly I want something a little different...so that will keep for the time being.

I have to say I've enjoyed working on this one, the bike really is a great platform imho...at least for me this was the right choice.

Nice. What did the chrome job on the rims cost?
Normally 700 to do our rims, but I have a connection so 600, so long as you do the transfer of bearings and rotor yourself. All the casting marks were sanded down prior to chrome..makes a big difference. I will probably due the photos this weekend to show the details a bit better.
