So we have the clock, the odometer, the trip1 meter, and trip2 meter. Once you start getting low on fuel the little light comes on. Then, a little F-trip meter comes on. Do we know how many miles you can go on the F-meter before you want to get your behind to a gas station?

When the light comes on you have around 1 gallon left. Depends on how much mileage you get. I have heard someone on here stretching it out to 26 miles, but I would be pretty nervous!

XPS, not really! haha... I'm trying to estimate. I'd bet i can go at least twenty on the F-gauge though. (I know I'm getting right around 40mpg) Because when I had been filling up at about 130 miles, i was only putting in 3 gallons, and some change. Totally capacity should be 40mpg x 4 = 160 miles. I'm sure not trying to get that far though.

On a side note... I take the bike to work every single day and it's exactly 60 miles round trip.. I'm finding myself putting in exactly 6.00 reg in if I fill every day (with gas at exactly 4.00 right now here) that's a buck e very 10 miles! Ya think that's good? I'm doing an equal amount of highway and city riding on this trip. Just curious with stats as I'm wondering if I'm getting almost the same mileage with my 4 cyl. car??

**** what is this math class lol. that comes to 40 miles a gallon so yep thats good. One thing to figure you never want to run it almost or all the way dry unless you want to put in a new fuel pump very soon. if your getting 40 miles a gallon i wouldn't push it past 25 miles or so past the light coming on other wise you will cause the fuel pump to overheat from lack of fuel. in a pinch its fine but don't do it everytime.

ive only let my light come on 3 times and the most i had to put into the tank was 12.8 litres and that was with around 20 km +/- on the f trip. the tank holds 15 litres so im not too worried

Hey guys I guess I can say I'm the guinni pig cuz When I had my ride for less then 2 weeks I ran out of gass :'( and it wasn't fun lol from what I remember it was just a bit over 140mi I had on my trip meter I wish I took a pic but I was pissed to c that I didn't reach close to the 160mi peeps are saying they should get on this bike... I had to push my ride for a few blocks to get some petro but luckily it had just a lil pep to ride me there.... In actuality if the tag says 40mpg I'm thinking minus a few off the top 3-5mi?? But I'm up for a real test riding the speed limit or maybe 5mi over the limit n I'll c how far I can go??
