I'm bored to tears this morning waiting to go home, so here's a useless topic for you.

When I come to a stop, I like to stop in style. Nice smooth approach, left foot lightly touching down, generally being a badass. But there is a serious design flaw with the bike causing me a massive failure to look cool. The head of the pivot bolt for the kickstand is exactly in the wrong spot. Sometimes when I come to a stop, and start to put my foot down, the cuff of my pants catches the **** bolt and suddenly I feel like I'm tripping over my shoelaces. I haven't actually hit the ground because of it yet, but I have definitely looked like half a 'tard trying to keep my bike upright with my leg caught.

Anybody else ever have this problem?

LOL! Sorry, I had a bad visual. I can honestly say that I haven't had that problem. Foot comes off the peg and out. Yours apparently hugs the frame if you're gettin caught on the kickstand. I can see how your bad ass points could be deducted...

So wait a minute I thought I was cool wearing my flip flops, shorts and Hawaiian shirt and coming to a stop and my feet stretched past the engine when I take them off the floor boards. I'm 6-5 so I don't have a problem with the bolt.

Sorry, i have not done that yet, but I've done alot of other dumbass things- forget to put kickstand down, hitting the horn button when I did not want to, hitting starter button instead of horn button & viceversa, too wide a turn and went off side of road and having hard time getting back on road because there was a 2" ledge, downshift when I wanted to upshift and viceversa, coming to a stop and foot sliding out on road dust, starting out from stop while still in 2nd, Realizing that at last stop I should have taken sunglasses off because it is dark now and I can't see $hit. HEHEHE

Ya, I can relate to just about all of those! Thats when you have to pull over, and, or start looking at your bike like there's something wrong with it so people don't think it was your fault! ;D I really don't think it work but it makes you feel better at the time?

How bout forgetting to buckle your helmet and it flying off on the interstate? Fortunately it bounced into to breakdown lane so I could retrieve it easily
Now I would have had to kick that helmet one more time when I got to it so that it looked like it was the helmets fault. Always make me feel better to put off blame elsewhere. LOL

Haha...I've done a few of those things myself.

The grand mother of all hilarious **** I've done was accidentally take off hard on wet grass when I was leaving a biker rally a few months ago. It was early morning and the grass/mud was very wet with dew and mist. So I get on the gas like I'm burning out of my driveway and the rear tire tries to come out from under me to the left. Panicking, I planted my right boot heel down hard. The pitching of the bike caused me to unintentionally give even more throttle. The end result was a super tight, mud slinging donut X 2. I righted the bike after nearly pissing myself and noticed the cheering and fist pumping of those near enough to see. I realized these people thought I did that **** on purpose and were probably saying...."****... that dude can ride!!" So I then promptly got the furk out of there and made a mental note to take off slowly when on wet grass.....end cool story lol/

I've lost track of how many times I've hit the horn on accident when clicking off the turns. It's embarrassing as **** and the road runner "meep meep" sound it makes doesn't help.
lol did that so many time too

HAHAHA So true i did it the other day. Right in front of a gas station.
I do the same thing quite often... when I hit the horn by accident... I look at the nearest person or car and give 'em the peace sign... makes it look like I did it intentionally...:)

I have one that is very stupid too... How about releasing the motorcycle jack after working on the bike for almost 3 hrs lowering it without having the stand in place, being by myself at that time couldn't hold the bike as it dropped sideways into the floor and breaking my brand new highway peg in the process.
