I ride with a half helmet and use goggles that will cover my prescription bi-focals, but I don't like the fit and I'm thinking about getting prescription riding glasses. So recommendations for glasses? Thanks...

A friend of mine has Wiley X prescription riding glasses. He says they fit his melon well and keep the wind out. They came with standard nonscript clear and tinted. The scrip lenses are transition lenses and the whole deal cost about $280 from a local vision center.

I was just curious, I realize this can be expensice since I want prescription lenses, so I didn't want to spend the money without some feedback on which frame styles do the best job of keeping the wind out your eyes. Not something I really want to play "hit and miss" with.

Thanks...

Go to your eye doctor and see if he has some to try. I didn't like the wiley x's, but a lot of others do like them. I finally found my happy medium with my 3/4 helmet and prescription oakleys. You need to try some on. I don't like foam, some do......

Thanks for the input all! I think I'll take Deja's advice and try on some different styles. I have the goggle hybrids now and not super happy with them. Even with the foam I still get gust from underneath. Could be because of my regular glasses. The other issue I have is that they a FISH EYES.

Thanks again for the input...
