I finally figured out how to post a topic. It only took me a year lol. Anyways, I recently just cut down my rear fender and frame support. I planned on cutting the rear fender supports, completely off. But, then I realized I wouldn't have anything to velcro my solo seat when it comes. This is how much I cut off until my solo seat comes in and I can see how much more I'm going to cut. Just so I can ride around town, I cut the stock seat 2-1/2" so it didn't hangover and installed the stock light set up back on.

Looks like your still working out the finishing touches on it, but kudos for taking such a big leap to make it what you want! One major issue that I see is you put your taillight right in the worst place fo clearance. When you cut down the fender it looks like there's way too much of a gap over the tire, but it will move almost 4" straight up under normal riding.
Cosmeticaly I think the bobber look your shooting for will require much shorter pipes. Good luck and looking forward to seeing more. ;)

Yeah, I'm getting some rub if I hit any major bumps. I'm going to cut it all the way down as soon as my seat and LM Lower Spring comes in. Going to get some LEDs too. I wanted to get some custom pipes done with heat wraps but can't find anyone who does out here. So I just ordered the V&H Big Radius black pipes. I'm going to order the SS CUSTOM CYCLE THE ULTIMATE BOBBER 240 FENDER from Mean Cycles too.

I don't mean to hurt your feelings but i don't lie. I don't like the way it is now but i think you are headed in the right direction with a bobber rear fender and the pipes but how do you feel about a solo seat i think this will help? Bobbers did not have wide tires but you might be ok it depends on the fender. Oh and i think lowering it will help a lot. Again i hope i don't seem rude but thought i might be able to help a little.

Yeah, no hard feelings. I know it's different. I should of said more of a Batman look, with the exposed tires. It's not complete untill I get all my parts and maybe a new paint job. I just threw everything back on so I can still ride.
