For anyone thinking about going to a RACE LEGAL dragstrip here is a FYI- I went today & couldn't race as there are a few requiremnts I was unaware of , of which some are farely recent: only a full face helmet DOT snell 2005 or never level is acceptable, only real boots, not leather sneakers or race type shoes even up to the ankle or acceptable. Obvioulsy you need full length pants & a leather jacket or similar type protective jacket, plus other issues which relate to the bike & those can be found @ racelegal.com & search for motorcycle requirements. A word to the wise.
