I finally put a few miles on my Stryker. I do mean a few. Drove about 40 + miles today to see how the bike handles. First I've have to tell you it was about 32*F , so there was only so much cold I could take. But the bike seems to handle great. Had some problem getting it in to first for awhile. Maybe I was just use to my other bike or it took a few times to break in. Has a lot of power it seems. Drove mostly in 4th so I wouldn't go over 1/3 throttle. Also did that slow speed that people seem to look at you like "Man with that bike. open her up" look. Hope it gets warm soon so I can really give it a run.

Think I'll have to buy a new pair of boots. My Harley boots have a little problem with going under the shift. But I guess I get to go shopping. ::)

Hit 1000 miles on Friday. It does move pretty well in the higher gears. Had no trouble at all passing in 5 gear on a ride a couple weeks ago.
A little bit toasty out here in Phoenix. AZ Bike Week is coming to an end on the hottest days of the year so far.
Great news! It is supposed to be in the 80's all next week. 8)
Looking forward to the next 1000 miles!!!

Desiree and Ares X:

Arizona :( Been to Scottsdale twice in the last 6 years. Told the wife if we ever win a lottery I'd move there. Best weather ever 8). Really wanted to rent a bike and ride out there, but ran short of time. You can do more riding in a year then I could do in TEN. Must be nice.

Let's put it this way. I've had my Raider for two years (last week was her 2nd birthday) and I have over 34,000 miles on it.

Why wait to win the lottery? We have jobs out here too. Then Desiree and I would have someone with a bad ass chin scoop to ride with.
