Hello everyone. I'm anxiously awaiting the delivery of my (new to me) '11 Stryker, raven color. It's coming all the way from FL. This forum has been mighty useful in my decision to buy this bike.

I'm a lady rider, originally from Hawaii, where I learned on a 750 Shadow Ace and then spent several years rocketing around town on a 03 CBR600RR. I've been bike-less since my move to AZ, so I can't wait to saddle up on the Stryker!

Glad you are here. Was this an eBay buy? Online dealer? What was the shipping cost from FL to AZ?
This was actually an ebay buy. I almost let it slide just because I was so nervous to do such a transaction online. Bike has 2600 miles, 3 years left on its YES warranty, quick release touring windshield and quick release backrest. Got it for $6700 plus $600 shipping from FL to AZ. The shipper required a $50 down payment to secure pick up and then the rest upon delivery.

Not too many Strykers for sale around here and the few I see are a lot more $$. I fell in love with the raven model 2 years ago and my dealer wanted 12k with taxes and fees.

It's finally here!

The shipper dropped off my bike and the postman delivered the title and keys all on Sat. What timing. I must give a shout out to Arnold at Patriot Express Logistics. They did an excellent job shipping from FL to AZ.

Bike needs a little dusting and polish but is otherwise perfect. The previous owner put on some dinky aftermarket $10 horn (I would have preferred aftermarket pipes instead!) I'm changing it back to stock, lol. Its definitely a different beast from my old crotch rocket. It feels a little heavy to pick up from the stand and low speed maneuver around the parking lot, but I'm warming to it. I also keep looking for the pegs in the rear, not forward! Guess I have some habits to break.

Congrats! I'm sure you will get use to it soon enough. Now let the modding begin and enjoy your ride. :thumb:
