Does anyone have or know of any aftermarket grips with a spike on the end? I'm looking for something in black. Is it hard to instal and how does it feel in your hand? The one I found has a concave profile and didn't know of that would be uncomfortable to hold onto? Thank you for any input!

I was surprised how easy replaces grips are when I replaced mine. I watch a video on You Tube that used compressed air for the left grip. The right grip just unbolts. I had both grips off in about 5 min.
When you install your grips ALWAYS install the right grip then install the left grip to match the position of the right. The video I watch didn't do that & the grips didn't match.

I was thinking about these for mine... anyone have them on their bike, and if so, how do you like them??

these are around $ 187 for the pair.
I'd bet they're nice.......
Could likely get them cheaper at Phat Performance....$149....or less using BLKNO5 code....and of course free shipping.....with excellent service (not an employee, just an appreciative previous customer)

Here's a video using WD40. You can used compressed air instead of WD40 for a quicker & less messy removal.

Thanks for the info, guys!! And yes, even in Fl, it gets dam cold...at least for us natives, lmao :)
I lived in South Florida back in the 70s & we got snow there one time. That wet cold chills you to the bone.

Believe it or not, we have had light flurries from time to time. And yes, since Florida is a penninsula, we have that damp, bone-chilling type of cold. I understand it is a different cold when it is a dry type of cold. But that is exactly the reason I am thinking about the heated grips...and will see if I can wire them to the headlight wiring, this way if I forget to shut them off they will automatically do so when I shut off Spitfire. Lol

I got my heated grips power from a "key on" hot terminal on the fuse block under the seat. I ran the wiring for each grip thru the factory wiring harness so you dont see extra wires hanging. I posted a few pics when I did the install,
