People have spoken. I designed a shorter rack and sent it to the machine shop.
I will have them made instead of the tall if you want, just make sure to specify.
The design and mounting are pretty much the same and everything listed above is included.
The mounting point for the rack at the top is dropped 3 inches and forward 3 inches (to compensate for the drop).
Price will be the same for now, just let me know and I will add you to the list above.

i'm interested if you have a pic of the "drop" mod you made afterwards.
No trunk. I got mine from Mutazu for $130.
I also have a couple more things in the works.
1. Hopefully I can get better pricing from another machine shop. I am hoping to here back from them today, so that $280.00 price could be permanent.
2. I can make them cheaper as fixed if I need to make a cheaper version (this would eliminate the end piece that has to be laser cut).
3. I have the adjustable backrest in the works.
