Hey guys!!!
So I went for a ride with my Stryker here in Brooklyn NY and I stopped to relax a little by the water and enjoy the view...this guy came with a 2011 Honda fury and started talking to me. He asked me what kind of bike and blah blah blah so he ends up saying that the fury is faster and meaner looking lololol
I didn't say anything but I was laughing inside of me and saying "yeah ok" hahaha
He was looking at my bike and had this weird look on his face like he screwed up and bought a fury instead of a STRYKER!!! :)

Love my STRYKER!!!!!

There's a review on YouTube that compares the two. Stock, Stryker wins for usability, equal on power at highway roll on, Fury wins for styling. Side note: The neat part is that this is filmed all in my neighborhood. I know all the places in the clip.

82 mph for me and was screaming like a little girl....lol
Never had mine over 125... I was screaming too. But it was more of an elated scream. BTW. I can not beleive that the Fury is Governed. I met a guy last night at a biker bar here in SLC and he wants to go for a ride. So, I guess we'll find out soon enough, yeah?

I have to say I love the way the Fury looks. The reason I chose the stryker over the fury came down to tank size, belt drive vs. drive shaft, and metal vs. plastic. Had the Fury had the belt drive, a larger tank capacity, and metal fenders I would have bought it instead. If's and But's were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry Christmas!

Has anyone ever ran these two bikes down the track just to see?
Have a friend with a Fury ... might take the wife's and see. I think it will be VERY close. He will be happy to run the Stryker for a change as he's sick on his ass whoopings with the Raider

I love the look of the Fury. If it wasn't for the shaft drive, the small back tire and the $2000 plus more for the bike, I may have been on the Fury forum. ;)

Seen the same vid after bought my bike.... Lol better looks?!?!? I was at the dealer Wednesday and seen the 2 side by side.... The fury is fugly but then I'm not a big fan of the "choppers" with the long skinny tanks and big gap between it and motor.... I only liked the rims a little better.

I too loved the look of the Fury, drove about 85 miles to look at them. Actually made about 4 trips trying to make up my mind. That was before the Stryker came out, was still looking at the Raider then. It was just too much bike for me. When I saw my first Stryker, it left the Fury in the dust. I also did not like the small tire and all the plastic, and really did not like the 2000 extra.

I just purchased my Stryker about a week ago and I was looking at these bikes side by side and I went into the dealership thinking I was going to get a shadow or a fury. This is not to put down any fury owners because the fury is a great bike but I just wanted to share my views for anyone that is contemplating either one like I was. The fury is a nice bike but here are the reasons I didn't get it:

1. They left the welds on the frame in plain view which I actually like but the problem is the they are fugly welds. I am sure they are strong and will last but are a real eye sore when you really get to looking at the bike. Some of the parts on the frame that were filled were not smoothed down right below the head light and are an eye sore as well.

2. Plastic fenders which aren't really a big deal to me but if I can get a bike for $1500 less with metal ones, then why not?

3. The fury is a great imitation of a custom chopper but it just doesn't have the unique personality that the Stryker does. I wanted a bike that was less about the show and more about the ride and I think that the Stryker does this perfectly. They fury is a great bike at that price but I just kept asking myself, do I really want something that imitating something that is much more expensive?

4. Black on black.... need I say more? The white fury with the black accents does look pretty good though.

5. Overall I felt like if I didn't have the money to mod either one, I would be happier with the Stryker in it's stock form over the Fury.

Fury is ugly as sin IMO....I didn't even consider it an option when I was drooling for my bike...

You said it well VERTAS, the Fury caught my eye at first, but I consider it more of a "blank canvas", it would be fun to mod if I didn't have the Stryker.
I've had my Stryker a little over a year now, and have yet to see another Stryker. I have done Poker runs and charity rides, no Strykers. Lots of Fury's though, and some looked pretty good, but not unique like the Stryker.
