Just put the first 100 miles on the bike and had a sneaking suspicion that the fuel was old showroom fuel. Bike just seemed to chug chug chug too much at low rpm's. So today at 100 miles I put some 93 octane ( I know it doesn't add power or efficiency) and some Lucas fuel treatment to a full tank, took 2.3 gallons. After about 10 miles I could feel the transition to better acceleration and less chatter from the engine. Will keep you advised but when I rid the system of this fuel I expect it to get better.

I do like the Lucas as well. You can buy the small bottle and just use a third at every other or fifth or seventh fill up. I used 1/3 a bottle on a full tank, will use 1/3 every fill up for the next few tanks to hopefully rid and gumming or varnish in the tank and lines.

I use Seafoam or Techron at every fill and I only use non ethanol gas. We have 1 station here that sells it mainly for the boaters.
