...I accidentally just sat on one for the helluvit! lol. I was just next door checking something out with the ole lady when I said I'd be right back cause I just love checking out the new bikes. Got rid of all the Sport bikes and really intended on taking a year off and then settling down on a simple cruiser in the area of a 750 or 900.... Just was interested in starting my search for a simple 2 wheeler to get me back and forth to work and save me some $$ on gas as I definitely intended on using the money from my last bike sale or another bike later on in life.
Wellll...suffice to say, that didn't last more than a month. Just walked in...checked out the Vulcan 900's and, honestly, they wre BOOORING as ****... then sat on a v-star 1300 and for me it was very uncomfortable as I was on top of the bike instead of part of it.. right next to it was 1 lone Stryker...It looked SICK! Then I sat on it and I just lost it... had over 6 grand cash in a wad of bils in my pocket and didn't hesitate for a second to put a down payment on one. That particular one was sold and that made me happy because mine came straight out of the crate and was assembled within the week and delivered right to my door the week after! What a cool experience to start my Summer as it definitely was a spur of the moment decision! The day it arrived I was estatic because it took about 2 weeks for everything to clear and I kinda forgot what it looked up close. Had a friend come over in a few days because the exhaust sound was ridiculous so I nipped that one in the bud with his drill!
Soon was the proud owner of a Raven Stryer. and to this day I have never seen another one in my area. That's my simple story! 8)
