Hey guys I'm new to the forum and I had some questions about a 2011 stryker I found for sale.first I'm from Huntington Beach ca I'm currently in Iraq right now and I go home next month I've been searching and researching bikes for me. I've looked at a lot of bikes and I think I've decided on a stryker. I am 6'4 230 pretty solid and I will be driving it to school prolly a 200mile round trip everyday. Seems like the stryker will do just fine and the water cooled will work great in traffic. Now as for the stryker I found its a 2011 burnt orange stryker brand new its a left over stock from the dealership and its going for 8k I've checked around to see if there was any used ones but there really is none around me so is this a decent deal and is the 2011 a good bike as far as no recalls or anything.

No recalls on the Stryker. That's the same price I paid for a leftover 2011 Raven back in October of last year. Go for it!

Oh, and welcome to the forum from Nebraska!

I got my '12 Red this past February for 9200, new, but had to drive 150 miles to get that price- the ones around locally, even "left overs," are 11500 at best, so yeah, that's a good deal. Far as I can tell, the only differences between years so far are colors. So enjoy it when you get it, and welcome from East Tennessee!

Welcome to the forum from Indiana!

I'd give the dealer a call, and ask them to hold it, they may ask for a small deposit... but explain your a vet and oversea's... and will be home soon.

if they have any sense of Honor... they should do it! then you have some peace of mind knowing it's there waiting for you!

That's good advice I'd defiantly do it but I'm kinda hesitant I haven't sat on one yet and although after all my research and deciding I want it we all know it comes down to if it will fit me I'm kinda in a bind either that brand new stryker or a used raider with 1000k miles on it for same price I'm rooting for the stryker though I think the liquid cooled will do better in city traffic I think I will call the dealership just to see if they will hold it or if anyone else is eyeing my hopefully soon to be ride lol 18 more days come on Lady Luck

Thanks for your service and I'm 6 4" and 245 and Stryker is great. My wife rides lot and no lack of power to me plenty of torque. Even spanked a Harley that was solo and she was on the bike with me. You'll enjoy it. Hurry home and be safe.
