Hello all has anyone found a way to adjust their handle bars? Im looking to get them to adjust up and maybe even pitch forward a little bit, im about 6'2 and have long arms so when riding my arms just hang down a little bit and would like them to ride more of a chopper style so my arms feel more comfortable if that makes sense?

rode mine to work today so I went out and had a look, there is no way to adjust the pitch or angle of the bars, I'm 6'1" and I got a little more reach by adding the solo seat and 3" PCS extensions, didn't extend much but made for a more comfortable riding position

I was on phatperformanceparts.com and they have some handle bar stuff but they are chrome and doesnt really show a year that you can use them.

these are 3" forward control extension, moves your pegs, brake pedal and shifter 3" forward. I added Kuryakyn swingwing pegs which gave me an additional 3" to stretch out my old knees

What is did was buy the Mustang vintage solo with backrest and pillion pad and took it to my loval upholsterer who removed some of the rear padding and lower padding which allowed me to sit further back, while he was in there we added a gel seat for my old bottom, kinda feels like I'm riding a Lazy Boy now, this could be done with your factory seat as well, I just wanted the backrest, my wife says the pillion pad is much more comfortable than the factory rear seat

so with the seat changes are you able to have two people on it or no? That was going to be my next post was how to extend the pegs forward cause i think it would ride a bit more comfortable. Is 3' inches the furthest out you can extend them? did you do it yourself was it hard? Have you done anything to your exhaust I want it a little louder than what it is now as stock.

I have the scootmods 3" extension. Same idea, but it comes with another bracket to move the rear brake cylinder back to the stock location. That way you don't need to mess with the brake lines. It's also only $100 shipped for forum members (U.S only I think). The kit come with good instructions, and I did it myself in under an hour. As far as the handlebars, really the only way would be to have new bars made...

Are the pegs black? How do they look are they still solid as stock? the thing is if you look at stock pegs they should have just welded the peg 3 inches instead of back where it is now, Is it possible to make new handle bars they way the odometer sits in them? but im sure its all marketing so they can sell parts to customize things.. Would you mind providing a link where you had baught yours? thanks everyone for all the help.

"the thing is if you look at stock pegs they should have just welded the peg 3 inches instead of back where it is now" Then MY short little fat guy legs wouldn't reach and you'd be reading a "Do they make a peg retraction thread?" ;D

Seriously though I should be getting some more time on the new bars this weekend. The hard part is done now to just fit the pieces and weld.

Shane, Id also like to add the Kuryakyn Swingwing peg. What adapters are needed. I was going to order from

http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/k...splined-adapters-sold-separately/part/KY-4467

but is says they need an adapter to fit and no adapter is listed for the stryker. Any help would be appretiated. Thanks.
