Went out for a ride today on Key Biscayne and was scraping my right Footpeg on the floor during some cornering. Thought I share it with my fellow Stryker Boys n Girls
looking good.. Ive already had to order a new pair of shoes. ;D My commute to work is 30 miles of twists and turns. I love how it corners with your heel and peg dragging.
I've ridden around 10,000 miles or so on motorcycles and still haven't scrapped a peg yet. I think the first time I do it its gonna scare the crap out of me
My controls are moved 3 inches forward I wonder if that helps or hurts with scraping ? this bike does corner nice in the turnes if your going a decent speed not to slow.
yeah first time i scraped it kinda took me by surprise. have to remember i'm not on a crotch-rocket anymore! but man this bike handles so well and such good power. love getting into some turns and twisting on that throttle
My first time was on purpose. ??? I wanted to know my leaning limits I did scare the crap out of someone in the car on the side of me during a two lane turn. lol
I have the Switch blades on my bike and already ground down the OEM scrap bolts or what ever they call them. Found a great replacement, a lot harder to grind down. 316ss 1/4 thread by 1/2 thumb screw. Works Great. I've been grinding the **** out of them and there still new. Sit back a grind Boys 8) 8)
i have scraped on both my HD (footboards) and the stryker, I can easily say the stryker wears away much MUCH easier and sounds much different due to how it is mounted vs the HD. Mine on the stryker are MUCH lighter due to the last week I spent in Laconia at bike week
