So after three rides in the rain my Hardstreet sixers have leaked water everytime. Doing a search resulted in no real complaints on this forum. Has anyone else had this problem? They appear to leak on the entire area of the seal on top of the back piece and some around the front. Keeping in mind that i have also found them to leak while washing my bike and i havent sprayed them directly on the seal with the hose

How much water do you get in them? I have the Slim Bags, and I find if I get caught in a really heavy rain storm, I may have a very small pool of water on the bottom of the bag. Not sure about an exact amount... Almost like if you took a wet kitchen sponge and were to wring it out. Not much, but enough to be annoying.

I did the same inspection, and I can really find any reason there wouldn't be a decent seal around the edge.

Blackvapor noted in this thread (http://www.yamahastarstryker.com/showthread.php?t=15761) that he'd lost the end or corner pieces to the weatherstripping on his bags. I noted the same thing. If you look in my photos on that post, you can see where the white foam adhesive mounting tape remains at the front of both bags, but the weatherstripping that had been there is long gone. Maybe you've had the same issue. I didn't notice the pieces missing until Blackvapor mentioned it and I looked for them explicitly, so it wasn't an obvious issue (but I also wasn't looking inside the bags daily, either.)

Both of my bags appear to be leaking from the seal on the top of the back panel. There is a gap pretty much the whole length of the top after you latch them. And i dont see any kind of adjustment for the latch to increase tension at all. I have checked the seals and they all appeared to be correct. I put a flashlight inside and it looks like the tops aren't latched even though they are, as you can see light coming though right near the latch itself on the seal to cover matting area

Wow. A 1" layer of water? Yeah, that's not right. I get a little but, but not anywhere that much.

Cycra did finally send me the replacement tabs for all 4 corners, but in all honesty, I don't think they do anything to keep the water out. They're too far out... It's more for aesthetics.
