The Harley dealership I go to does not have drip pans under their show room floor new models. But I'm sure they have no fluids in them. ???

Hahaha These threads always crack me up. Harley riders are like night and day. They are either cool or are straight dickheads on the road. I've had them cut me off because I'm not on one of their beloved Harleys. **** insane....

I've met more good than bad. At least in this day and age. Different in the 70s though.
They are careful what they say about your bike especially if it's a Yamaha. ::)

I've had alot of Harleys including what is known as a shovel head engineas well as Evo motor Harleys (83,84 93,94,96) & I have never owned a Harley that leaked oil & if any '83 to current Harley leaks it is probably due to someone improperly tighteniong or installing something incorrectly or a FAULTY REBUILD NOT A HD ENGINE DESIGN ISSUE. Oil leaks or not, I just can't convince myself where a Harley excels over the Stryker. I like the Street Glide and V-Rod adn think the fit and finish, sound, etc is extraordinary. However, for the money, I can build one **** of a Stryker and have something is all mine.

When I decided to get a new bike I went to the Harley dealer and looked for about 3 hours, and just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for the name. So then I went to the Yamaha dealer saw the Stryker, and rode it home the next day. I have a friend that rides a Street Glide and when we compared the service schedules and what needs to be done at each time the Yamaha costs a whole lot less to own and operate.

Walked through a Harley dealership yesterday, only because it was right next door to the place I was getting my car tires at. They didn't have any drip pans, but there were some obvious spots and stains on the concrete floor under the bike, expecially some of the "used" ones which were 2009-2012's. I sure wouldn't have bought a Yamaha if it had been sitting on an oil and fluid stained floor.

Only thing that leaks is my wife when I put her on the back and hit the throttle real hard. Must be the vibration lol.
