Has anyone ridden the Harrison Arkansas roads? I am going to be traveling there in. April or May of 2013.
I don't recall the exact website link but I know you can google "Harrison Arkansas motorcycle roads" and it will bring up a couple links. I believe there's like 6 or 7 roads that are 100+ miles long with 400+ curves on each road.
Anyone interested in hitting that this coming april or may?
Here are some of the road names; moonshine run, peel ferry, bull shoals dam, jasper disaster, mountain view, eureka springs backroads.
It sounds fun to me.

Back in 03 took a road trip out west - while in WY I passed a gas station thinking there would be another one - wrong! Ended up stopping at a small marina...yes they have marinas in WY - the pump was down hill on the dock, they didn't have any gas cans so I had to back the bike down the hill then continue backwards on to a 3' wide dock for about 10'. Put enough gas in to make it to the next station 45mi down the road.

Point being after that I plan all my rides out a couple months in advance using Google maps for planned fuel stops.

Now back to the regular thread.

Alright the date is set heading from Missouri to harrison Arkansas for a motorcycle cruise with friends. We will be leaving Missouri April 26 and taking some of the routes that I mentioned previously in this thread and I would like to hit the pig tail or drangon tail I heard it called both ways.
If anyone is interested in joining in the cruise let me know. Some people in are small group are semi newbie riders so if you like to haul ass (which I do) and get impatient waiting on people I would probably pass on joining us.
If you have any suggestions on places to eat, visit or sight see/scenic view I would greatly appreciated.
A place in eureka spring I want to eat at is the rowdy beaver.

I live 30 min from Eureka. Ride northern Arkansas/Southern Missouri all the time. It's pretty much one of the main reasons I don't leave the area lol

I dont think I would order anything off the menu at the Rowdy beaver, but that just me.

Buy the wife something nice or give her some $$. She will let you go all the time! Works for me.....but then thats why my mods take more time! LMAO
