Yea man, I just installed the 35w hi/lo 8000k hid from ddm tuning this past Friday. It's not too bad of a job, it's just a tight squeeze in the light housing. I'll try and take a few pics tomorrow of where I mounted the ballast.

Here is a few pics of the light output. Lights look 10 times better on dark roads. I also attached one that shows the ballast placement on the neck. The relay, connectors, and remaining wire is all tucked inside the 2 plastic pieces at the neck. Took me an about an hour and a half and only cost $50 (including shipping)

Did you need to order any of the other accesories with it, like the mounting brackets, HID harness, error elimantor and all of that jazz??

No complaints yet.....heck, I enjoyed them so much that I went ahead and put a set on my Honda like 2 days ago. If you are thinking about doing this, then go ahead.....just go with 6000-8000K lights.
Do you think the 55 Watt would get to hot inside the lightcan? I am gonna get one, but not sure about the 35 or 55?

Hi guys I am coming back on this.

I went for a long ride last night ...felt like it. I realized how weak is the stock light when I rode in the complete darkness of the forest for an hour or so.

I want the light to be brighter ...I need an HID kit.

UrbanRage, did you bought a 35w or 55w finally?

Guys, any links on kits? The info is still parse on the forum on HID kits.

I haven't ordered the HIDs yet. I did contact DDM, I provided them with the measurements of the headlight for our bike. They said that if the enitre housing it metal is shouldn't be a problem, but if there is any plastice they wouldn't recommend it.
