I'm mostly a 'factory stock' sort of guy and this forum makes it seem like most members mod. So I'm wondering how many members have or plan to mod and how many don't.

Thanks to anyone who takes a few seconds to take the poll.

I guess you will get 95 per cent of "Already Did"
That's about what I expect from the general impression given by the posts on the forum. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out if people bother to take the poll.

This forum is awesome.

where's the "already did, but not done" choice?
Unfortunately, the poll can only have five choices. I'm going to assume that if someone has done a mod, they'll keep doing more whenever the mood strikes I guess.

Thanks for taking time to post a reply.

I have already done mods to mine, but just curious, what do you consider a mod? I have cut the plastic on the rear fender, and put a skip on pipe, so I know that is definitely mods, but would you consider adding bags a mod? What about new pegs? Grips? etc.. How small is considered a mod. Just wondering... to get accurate poll results.. LOL

Some say a mod is as easy as just taking the tank sticker off! HEHEHEHE

That was supposed to say "slip on" pipe... I don't know what a skip on pipe is. LOL. If a mod is "anything", the 99.99999999999% will be doing mods. LOL... Nice thing about this bike, it looks good even if you just leave it alone... but it is fun to make it your own.

I'd say if it didn't come from the factory with it, and its on your bike, it's a mod. Same for stuff that did come from the factory and has since been removed from your bike (i.e. circles of metal from the exhaust/baffles,...) That said, there are different degrees of mod, obviously. New grips aren't quite as big a mod as a custom paint job or after market wheels,...

Thanks for caring about accuracy! :D

I put some Stryker add ons like bags, engine guards & Chrome belt cover. The only other changes coming are that I will change out the horn and replace the mirrors with ones that extend out further because the stock ones are tough for me to see anything except my elbows. I might consider adding some lights, but as for anything else I don' think so. I could have bought any number of bikes, but I chose the Stryker because of its looks. A lot of people I run into also are quite impressed with it. So I figure why change it. I'd rather just get on it and ride.
