Hey all,

I just moved down to New Zealand and I am having my 2011 Raven Stryker shipped here in a couple of weeks.

Since NZ is right han drive (like Oz, and England) I need the headlight to dip opposite of how it is in the US.

The part is the same on tons of Star models, so you would think it would be reasonably easy to source the part I need from somewhere in the world. BUT I have been searching all over for a couple of days now. So I thought that I may as well post this message here in case someone can point me in the right direction.

If so, I would like to hear from you.

Cheers,
Matt

Clarification

That's funny!

It does make me think that I should explain it better....

The direction the light cast ahead on my US bike will hit oncoming traffic driving down here. Well that can't happen because the bike will not pass compliance checking and registration without the correct headlight. Everyone here knows this all too well, and all bikes imported are changed. I just need to find the part for my Stryker (which is only sold in the US, and Canada I suppose). Grrr

Headlights

If it does, then I should be OK. But from what I have learnt they must be more to the right (in the US) This would be to the shoulder/curb. That would mean they would shine on oncoming traffic down here.
I just read about the opposite problem I have, when guys from England ride in Europe.

But I also read that not all bike are like this. Meaning that some are in fact set straight. Of course my bike is in Wisconsin so I can't test this at all. Oh well more searching to me :(

StrykerJan lives in England and I've never heard her say anything about havng to adjust the headlight when she rides in other countries.

Should be alright brother... The lights shoot straight out from what I can tell... If not, it appears you can adjust the direction inside the light housing by loosening or tightening the right or left screw. They have rubber pieces under them, which I suppose are for adjustment, not 100%, but couldn't hurt to try!
