Crawled on my bike to head to work this morning and the headlight refused to come on. Is there a fuse somewhere I need to check, or is it safe to assume the bulb is burnt out? Does it take a special bulb? I hate to buy a new one if I can use one of the other bulbs I have lying around. How much trouble is it to get inside the housing to change the bulb?

A lot of questions I know, but I'm stuck at work trying to figure this out before I get home so I can get it done asap.

you should still have either hi beam or low beam depending on which you use more. The housing is easy to get into only 2 screws one on each side of the housing then it comes apart. The bulb you need is a H4. Could be a fuse its a 20amp and located under your seat.

Thanks, I'll check the fuse. It didn't have either high or low beam, which I thought was odd. Not even the light in the instrument panel which indicates high beam.
