I'm using Firstgear heated gloves and I think they are AWESOME! Last Friday I rode for 4 hours it was about 30 to 40 degrees outside and I was doing about 70 85 mph and my hands were toasty!! you can set them up as warm as you want them.

I just got back from a 3000 mile trip to Colorado, Utah, and the Grand Canyon on my new Stryker and have it wired for my Gerbing heated G3 gloves and vest. They were great for the 18 degree mornings in Colorado and the ride up the mountains to Silverton. I think I will upgrade to their jacket liner though as it is a hassle when I need to unwire from the gloves and take off the vest. I've had this gear for six years with no trouble at all.

They had these at the bike show I went to over the weekend....they are very nice.....really warm.....nice gloves......I didn't get buy them, just couldn't justify the cost considering where I live.....But if I lived somewhere other than California (besides where Toby goes :p ), I'd be on them.....now if the wife were to put a pair in my stocking for Xmas.....i wouldn't mind for the cold rides to and from work......(using thermal liners which seem to be working out now)
There's probably a local dealer near you

I think I will be looking into heated gear because we are getting tired of stopping when the temps drop to near freezing and putting on a forth layer of riding gear. Then hitting the mountain home is 30 miles of 20 to 35 mph twisties and if the sun is out it warms up towards the top so without the wind chill factor we have to stop and strip layers off. We would benefit more with temp controlled suits than cruise control. But that still doesn't do anything for the icy roads up here.lol. I guess I need to mount a flame thrower to my front end to heat the roads up. ;D

Did you find icy roads at those temps? We find places up here with ice at 2:00 in the afternoon when the temps are in the high 30s in places where the sun never hits and there is underground springs.
