I'm planning to have the Oxfords for cruisers fitting to my Stryker sometime soon or at least before next winter. Even though we don't get anything as near cold as you guys do I still want them. I have a set of Oxfords on the Suzuki Burgman which cost around 15% the cost of the original Suzuki set and they are great. they have 4 levels. the 1st is just warm and comfy the 2nd is a bit toasty and the 3rd is hot almost too hot to hold without gloves and I've never tried the 4th I think it may just cook an egg. The only worry is the visability of the setup on the Stryker which will need to be very carefully planned and fitted while on the Burgman its mostly hidden away. Stay warm. Bryan.

Avon heated grips for me w/ spike ends. Not a terrible installation but take your time as you have to measure and drill into the handlebars. Extremely clean install if you do right.

I use them a lot in spring and fall here in Chicago. Easily one of the top 5 things I have done to the bike.
2nd full season for me with them and no future bike will not have heated grips unless I suddenly move where it is a lot warmer...

Only negative is that the wire on the throttle side makes using something like the Breakaway cruise control impossible. Would like that for longer rides but I have Throttle Boss and that helps a lot on all rides.

Have only run the grips on #4 setting once and that was when I rode when it was stupid cold :(
