I stumbled on this site a few days ago after purchasing my 2011 stryker about 2 weeks ago. What a great site. I have already had several questions answered just from browsing the posts. The flipside is that I can see money flying out of my wallet looking at some of the accessories and mods members have. I could have worse problems though. I look forward to to learning and speaking with you all and I'll throw in my two cents when I can. Happy trails.

Welcome to the forum and what a good choice. one thing to look out for is dealership rip offs when you have your first 600 mile service done. Too many people have been way over charged for a 15 minute oil and filter change and quick inspection. Read your manual and be informed or ask questions on this forum.

Welcome and kudos on the bike! What color? I'm new too, and have picked up some great tips. A shout-out is in order to Toby who reminded me to check dealer rates on service since I'll be in for my first service in a week or so. This site is awesome and a great source of info. Ride safe and ask often!

Blue. Had my eye on the copper but they were not in stock.........and at the rate I'm going I'll be due for 1st service shortly. I intend to do most maintenance myself, but I wanted to allow the dealer to do the 1st service. The main reason being to I just want to see how the dealer conducts themselves. Will they try and gouge me or rip me off in some way? To be determined. I'm a mechanic myself ( jet engines not motorcycles but moving metal parts are pretty much the same) so I kinda want to test them. I'll be sure to post the results. Also, thanks to all for the welcome from everyone.
