What's the penalty for this? I saw a guy on I10 yesterday with no bucket on, made me curious.
Your opinion has be noted....my life my choice..I also feel the same way with seat belts tho.... MN if you have an endorsement you don't need a brain bucket but I was wondering the samething with what the fine would be.coors said:In Texas if you have done the safety course was you don't have wear one. I think people are idiot for not wearing a dot approved helmet. I see of Germany half helmets which are not safe. I got brand off the road on my 636 last April and ibwear full gear every time I ride. I full face helmet, and padded jacket and gloves, and ect.
Actually, it just might save your life on the highway. I've had a couple riding buddies who would be vegetables right now if it were not for their helmets. Another guy, a coworker had an innocent low side on his bike going at a very low speed, but his head hammered the pavement. He got up and walked away. The paramedic said the helmet saved him from a coma.teamonemma said:Helmets a choice in Illinois and now Michigan. I do own a full face helmet and usually wear it on long highway rides. Every time I do wear it, some jag says "Its not gonna save your life on the highway if you crash!"
