Really..huh.. didn't know that? Any reasoning why it isn't recommended?8sec-z said:Seriously, rain-x is not recommended for shields.
The shields on modern full-face helmets have special anti fogging/scratch coatings...many cleaners like Windex for example will damage that coating. I would imagine that Rain-X may do the same.UrbanRage said:Really..huh.. didn't know that? Any reasoning why it isn't recommended?8sec-z said:Seriously, rain-x is not recommended for shields.
I've heard good things about Honda Polish and Plexus Plastic Cleaner. Since i just picked up a new lid i'm gonna get one of these.Bozzly said:Wish I would have known that, I use windex on my faceshield all the time and it does appear that I am now removing some coating on it and the visibility through the shield has become bad. I now need a new faceshield. What do you use to clean it so that the coating doesn't get harmed?
