I bought a sweet, light/small dot approved beanie.... but the chin strap digs in pretty good. Any recommendations on how to soften it?

I use one of those on my half helmet, works great. JUst button up the strap when you aren't using the helmet otherwise you will lose it quick.

Go to your sporting goods store... they have chinstrap cushions for cheap. Just about every sport/event has helmets now.

My buddy used a small football chinstrap pad on his helmet and made a world of difference.
