Hey everyone, I have been looking for different systems to use for communication between riders and passengers and bike to bike. Does anyone recommend one in particular? I have seen different threads on such equipment but I am not sold on any. It seems like there isn't really one everyone prefers!?

I too am interested in communications bike to bike. Can't afford anything right now and may never at some of the prices I've seen. Would like to get something before summer ride time. Would use cell phone with voice command dial and auto answer but that wont work in most areas because of no signal. And I believe blue tooth capability in cell phones are only good for 15 or 20 feet. Looking forward to info on this subject on this thread.

I use to have a blinc but it died so went the cheap route and got the interphone ones in a pinch for a trip and its way better then expected I ordered it from amazon I've had it now for 6 months and the wife and I use it on the stryker and the sport bike I also use it solo to listen to music and phone with my blackberry bold. the music isn't bose quality but very impressive for the price. The phone is really clear and loud. The battery life is a big plus it has lasted 4 plus hours on a long ride. heres the link to the ones I got. reading the reviews if you don't like the quality you can return it minus shipping

I've been looking for an answer to the same question. Took a gambit and picked up the scalarider q2. Device works great, my folks have a set and love it. However, it didn't hook up to my helmets correctly. I have a set of Nolan helmets and it looks like I'll be going with the n-com system from Nolan. On that note I am looking to sell my scala rider q2 if anyone is interested. Brand new in box, it has been tested but never used or hooked to helmets for the above reasons.

Currently I have a cheap $20 set of headphones from Wally world that I stripped to just the speakers and placed those in the helmet, run the cord to my phone and listen to music.

Alright gents, I really do appreciate the feedback on this topic!

Wlfpak65, that looks awesome but its a little out of my price range at this point...

Stryker, I believe I am almost sold! These units appear reasonably priced for reasonable quality!

Toby, check out Stryker's link!

safteydanny, After reading reviews on the snow mobile inter-phone I think I will shy from that one. Scala has nothing but good reviews. Unfortunately they are a bit pricy. And although you can get good in-expensive helmets that they will work with there is other options out there. Like Hawk offers a dual visor modular helmet blue tooth set up for under $200.

will any of these work and have good sound with an open faced helmet or brain bucket like i'm partial to, I got the G4 but found it cumbersome to mount to any of my helmets and just couldn't find anything that appealed to me so I sent it back, I guess wind on the mic is the #1 issue when ya go open faced
