I have Added Cobra Air Intake and V&H Staggered exhaust and the bike seem to run a little rough. I know from the knowledge i have working on cars and some bikes that there is more air now and the EFI needs to adjust for it. I installed the Cobra Fi2000r closed loop processor thinking it would clear it up and i too the standard settings which were 2.5, 5 and 5 for full exhaust systems it ran once in the night and now will not start and its loading up the plugs. The unit is plugged in as per the directions and the O2 is unplugged...

Please help!!!

I have the cobra fi2000 as well, and you need to connect the O2 sensor. From what I have read so far, there seems to be issues with the vance & hines pipes and the cobra at unit. try connecting the O2 sensor, and see if she runs better, otherwise try to get it replaced. It may just be isues with the O2 sensor. I have the Rush racing straight pipes, and no issues at all, my bike is running better than before. Good luck!!!! PS, waterproof your at unit, there have been a few issues with water leaking into them. :)

Thank you for the reply... the issue was that i stupidly overlooked the fuel level and it was reading 1/4 tank but it was empty...

put 1 gal of super in it and it ran beautifully.....

Is your gas tank float sticking, or just malfunctioning?? When I get to a 1/4 tank the display automatically shows the fuel tank squares, then once that 1/4 is gone, starts counting the miles til truly empty. Is yours displaying this info?

And PS, you are not a dumbass, sometimes the simplest of solutions are often overlooked!! :)

in the documentation it says to disconnect it... so you recommend connecting it??? I don't see why because the Fi2000 is making the fuel mixture and the O2 doesn't talk to the Fi2000... can you explain??

Thanks

Im not quite sure on the gas gauge since the riding year is over... it did work last year and i only have 2200 miles on the bike, i didnt ride at all this year because i didnt have to money to do the mods yet and i DO NOT like the stock pipes and air cleaner... Dont know what the designers were thinking... LOL

I will keep an eye on it in the spring...

There is 2 units... the Fi200R O2...and the Fi2000R... the O2 directions state in step 5 to connect the O2 plug. The other clearly states to NOT connect the O2 sensor to "take full advantage" of the tuner capabilities.....

Which one did you get??

is it silver or Black?
