Hi. I am running the Rush racing pipes, a Cobra fi2000 AT unit, and a Baron BAK. Sounds great to me. A friend of mine who has a sport bike says he can actually feel my pipes when I pull up....they have a deep tone that he says resonates in his chest, lol. But look at westendmotorsports.com for the pipes, and I found the cheapest price on amazon.com for the Cobra unit, and the Baron BAK. There is a link to the sound of my pipes, but they sound better in reality. :)

This should help you out with sound diferences:

Personally I think the Rush pipes sound the best, but they don't seem to be as popular with most of the people on here. It really all depends on how much money you want to spend and what you want your bike to look like. Ultimately, any aftermarket exhaust is going to sound way better than stock. And like Roadkill said, if you're only changing your exhaust, you dont need a fuel programmer.

I like the Rush racing pipes.
I also have the Baron Big air intake. If I were to do it again, I probably would not do the BAK. it is loud. (louder than the stock pipes alone)

Everytime I am at a light and a Harley guy is next to me they look and say, "Hey whats that noise"?

I say" Thats a real bike sucking in air"!

On this site people like the Cobra fi2000, maybe I should have also gone that route.
When it came to the exaust and the air intake I did not take any short cuts.
The only thing that sounds better thant the rush pipes are these pumped up kicks!
