So I've had my Raider for a week now, and I do love it, but they really are two totally different bikes, so there is no comparison... they are both great bikes.
Since I spent all my "mod allowance" for 2013 on my Stryker (or you could read that as just being plain ol' broke ;)) I had to figure what to do with the stock exhaust. For me that is the FIRST mod to do to any vehicle. So I cut the stock pipes. It sounds like a friggin' big block :thumb: But it's such a deep note, it's actually much more tolerable than the unbaffled Cobra I had on the Styrker. Here's some pics///before and after. Whattya think???

Can't take it easy Miko :) Not in my blood...I think if what happened was any worse, I would be looking for Jack Kevorkian to put me out of my misery.

...and the mod took all of an hour and 1/2, that's including beer and driving to the exhaust shop to have them cut the pipes. (took them 5 minutes on the hydraulic band saw. I wonder if the same can be done on the Stryker. (if you have black pipes, do a straight cut, then put the chrome tips back on)

...AND...it's already getting cold up this way :( ...but that means less bugs. I love this time of year for riding...before the leaves hit the road. The summer flew by this year. May have to move to Texas if this keeps up. (almost moved to Plano a few years back, but someone else got the position I was going for at Westvaco in Dallas)
