I am newbie here, My name is Marvin and I from Scarborough, Ontario. Today I am interesting in Motorbikes and found this Yamaha Star Stryker forum. So I am joining this community to get enough knowledge about this motorbike. I hope it will be a good experience with you guys.

Welcome. Do you have your MC license or permit yet? I assume they have special an additional requirements in Ontario for riding an MC. In the US there is a great organization called the Motorcycle Safety Foundation that teaches classes and certifies students to ride and helps them get thier license. If you have not taken a Motorcycle Basic Training program in Ontario, I highly recommend that you take one. Most of the colleges in Ontario offer the program and it lets you get comfortable on a bike while teaching you safety and basic riding skills. I took mine at Niagara College last weekend and it was great. I finished the course by taking my M2 test and I now have a certificate that I can take to the license bureau to upgrade after I have my M1 for 60 days.
