I did not buy a HiViz helmet but I did apply reflective stickers to my helmet. I'll have to get a better pic but I think you'll get the idea. During the day they have the look of torn metal with a lightning storm in the backround, but at night they reflect. I also have a silver celtic knot design on the back that is almost invisable during the day but it too reflects at night.
Hi Viz helemt (and gear)
In a search for a helmet and I see many manufacturers are now making helmets in a Hi Viz yellow and other gear. In reviewing Shimbo's "Show me your helmet" I do not recall anyone having one of these helemts. Lately I am thinking safety over looking cool especially after disgruntled's lay down accident this week.
Does anyone have one and do they think it has made them safer?
