Has anybody ordered HID kits? If so which ones and from where? the reason I ask is, I was looking at ordering a cobra bullet lamp from Meancycles and then getting the HID kit. the question I have is it says make sure your bike is an H4 type bike before ordering. Also how bad was the install if so?

Ours are H4. I got mine from aacstyle.com. its plug and play and the brightest you can get. I LOVE IT !
With your HID, is it a Bi- Xeon? I ask because the ones that I put in my ford exploder, has a solenoid that retracted moving the bulbs upwards, giving you the high beam effect. I need high beams where I live, because Northern California dosen't beleive in the street light...lol... well at least were I live. Thanks Schimbo!

Please dont throw an HID bulb in the stock headlight! :(

A projector lens is required (and mandatory by law) for an HID setup. End of story.

I'm in the process of retrofitting my new headlight and will update my "Natedog's Stryker Build" thread when I have more info. ;)

THanks for the link, so what are your thoughts on it??
Really easy kit to install. Plug n play. No relays. Gives good light dorwn the road. Wish wires were a little longer, but was ok. Nice part is if hid goes out, still have light.

Its not here in Georgia. You just buy the plug n play kit, install it and have fun. I've been meaning to do it to mine. Its better if you have a bike that uses seperate hi and low beam bulbs. When you install the bulb you are stuck with a low beam only. My buddy mounted two different ones on his 929 and when he hits his brights they really are blinding.
