Does anyone know of a way to dim the bright as **** blue high beam lite, very distracting on a dark rd.

yes it is. I put some paint over the indicator hole. I can still see it but it isnt so bright. I used a testors model paint pen.

Does adjusting the dimmer not effect the high beam indicator?

What dimmer,you mean the speedo has a dimmer?

Check your manual. There is a way to adjust the brightness of your speedo. I've done it before but can't remember how. I think you hold down the select button for like five seconds or something like that.

Found it.

For those who didnt know:
turn key off
hold /\ side of the select switch
turn key on
keep holding /\ for 5+ secs
then press /\ \/ to select brightness
push reset to confirm choice

Its supposed to be annoying. That way when a car comes from the other direction you remember your blinding them.
