Well I figured I'd give everyone a heads up incase you're waiting on me for you something. The other night on the way home from work I had a deer jump out in front of me. I've spent the last three days in ICU, but am out now and hoping to get home soon!

Don't know whats up with the bike yet, but will post up when I do.

Yes...they make a whistle sound. Save your money and use your eyes more. Best medicine.

when I worked at a body shop I cant tell you how many deer hits had those whistles on them.

I broke my leg pretty good, but I think they fixed it better than the first time. Other than that, I have a damaged spleen, a bruised liver, 4 broken ribs, and a clavicle. I'm feeling a lot better now and just want to go home!

I should know more about the bike tomorrow.

I've had a bunch of great people helping me out, most of them strangers!

Bad News, but good news that you are recovering! Hitting a deer is my worst fear riding bike. We have many roads here where wooded areas near road and lots of deer. Take care Buddy and hope you have a great and speedy recovery.

Either the deer caused your lung to collapse or the surgeons had to crack open your chest. Either way, yikes! I know those deep breathing exercises suck but seriously do them. Easiest way to minimize complications.
