This is 1 of 2 different cover I made. This one is held on by magnets and hooks over bracket under seat.

I agree with you Nate- My Son has insisted to me all along that he likes the rougher looking leather in variant 1, But I'm leaning your way also on this. Thanks!!

Idea for Var3.

Looks like Var2 with the magnets from Var1, but sew in a pocket. Nothing huge, just big enough for some sunglasses and keys or whatever.

OK got rid of the straps on variant 2 and used velcro to hold down.
