This bike doesn't have any vibration at any speed. Around 75mph in 5th gear your around a quarter throttle smooth as can be. At around 90 Its even smoother but the wind is trying to push you off unless you have a windshield 8)

Vibration isnt bad at all, although this is my first cruiser sort of bike so I have nothing to compare against.

I rode ~1300 miles last week from Fredericksburg to Charleston on 95 and 26 I averaged around 45mpg did around 80-90 the entire way except in traffic.

That is very true. This is my first bike of this type, I used to ride a Ninja, and the wind on the highway at first startled me at high speeds. I guess the fairing and windshield on the Ninja was blocking more wind than I realized. Anything above 70-75 was a little bit uncomfortable for me at first. I did get used to it after a while. Then I put on the Yamaha Boulevard winshield and I was surprised by the difference it made for such a small winshield. The turbalent air hitting my chest was not as bad and I felt very comfortable hitting speeds up to 90-95, no problem. The small winshield still allows me to feel the wind in my face which is great for me. Also, the bike itself is very smooth and stable at the upper speeds which I was surprised by. It is a great bike either way you cut it!

very true lol.

Totally agree with this statement. I ride outta town for work; about an hour one way on the highway. Couldn't stand the wind even with the full face helment. Ended up buying the 22" tall quick-release windshield and now I'm a happy rider.

yeah I have the 22inch as well and love it especially the protection from the bugs. If i'm riding during the heat of the day i'll take it off but any riding in the evening and night I put it on prime time bug time.

The bike has been insanely smooth. Since I drilled my baffles it gets a little bit more vibration, but nothing like any of the HD's I rode in the past.
At some points that vibration is kinda nice, maybe a memory thing. ;)

The windshield is a god send. I also commute to work 47 miles one way and part of it is through a swamp lands area. lol
Can say I don't fear Dragonflys anymore.

Really....No Tach? I guess I hadn't noticed that. I guess w/ a rev limiter on a torque-monster motor it's not an issue but I am not used to not having a tach (on a road bike). Seems weird, but I've not looked at crusiers much until I saw this one.
Is no tach common on HD's and "metric" cruisers?

I would agree with all the previous statements.
Besides some wind tunneling up around the tank the bike is sweet at any speed.
On the way back from joliet's nhra race we felt a little jacked up from the nitro and found ourselves running 90 to 100 a few times. No vibration and the wind didn't seem terrible. I was holding onto the bars pretty tight..lol
