I am thinking about ordering the PCS lowering bones. And my question is, has anyone installed them with the 2x6 board jack, if so how big of a pain was is it or not? Reason I am asking is, I am somewhat of budget minded person because I am contemplating getting a bike jack from Harbor Freight for $99 to just make things really easy but if its fairly easy with the board jack I'm going that route. LOL

Would it help your decision of I told you that you need to raise and lower the bike just perfectly at tiny increments just to get the weight off the bolts to remove them?

People have done it with a board yes, but the lift is just so handy! Makes changing oil a breeze too!

Yes i checked out the step by step thread and was just trying to get some input from anyone who had done it with the board. I plan on getting a lift/jack cause in the long run it should pay for its self because between 3 toy (Stryker and 2 Raptor 350's) it should pay for itself. LOL

Oh man, it would definitely pay for itself. The board is do-able. But then it becomes more of a two-man venture. If you have the extra set of hands, then sure why not.

You'll need just a little pressure on the rear tire to be able to slide the bolts back and then push them back in to slide the sleeves out the shifter side before the bolts will come out the exhaust side. You will need to lower the bike to put more pressure on the rear tire to get the bottom bolt back in after you install the top bolt. It can be done by only loosening the belt guard to get enough access to the nuts on the shifter side. A friend to hold the wrench on the exhaust side is nice but with a little ingenuity you can get by. Don't forget to torque em down to 43 ft lbs. You'll have to use an extention which I don't care for but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
